1. Early-Access Beta Product
Skimscore is currently provided as an early-access beta product. You acknowledge that beta software may be incomplete, unstable, unavailable, or changed without notice.
Practical Apps Studio does not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, specific feature availability, monitoring frequency, alert delivery, report accuracy, or data retention during the early-access period.
2. Service
Skimscore is an AI readability monitoring SaaS product by Practical Apps Studio. The service is intended to help teams monitor machine-readable website signals, including crawler access, metadata, structured data, sitemap availability, and related readability indicators for AI assistants and search crawlers.
Skimscore provides informational monitoring and reporting only. It does not guarantee search ranking, AI assistant inclusion, traffic, revenue, or any other business outcome.
3. Subscription Pricing
Early-access subscription plans are billed monthly:
- Solo: EUR 19 per month.
- Agency: EUR 39 per month.
Prices may change after the early-access period. Founding members who subscribe during early access keep their locked-in price for the plan they joined, subject to continued payment and compliance with these Terms.
4. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe acts as merchant of record for paid subscriptions and may handle billing, taxes, payment authentication, invoices, refunds where applicable, and payment support according to Stripe's own terms and policies.
By starting a paid subscription, you authorize monthly billing for the selected plan until you cancel.
5. Free Trial
Early-access waitlist users may receive a 14-day free trial. You may cancel anytime during the trial period and no charge will be made if you cancel before the trial ends.
If you do not cancel before the trial expires, your selected paid subscription may begin and monthly billing may start through Stripe.
6. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel distance purchases. For digital products and online services, the withdrawal period starts when the service is activated or made available to you.
Where applicable law allows, your right of withdrawal may be affected once digital service delivery begins with your consent. This section does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under EU law.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription anytime from account settings. Cancellation stops future billing after the current billing period.
After a monthly billing cycle has started, no partial-month refunds are provided unless required by applicable law or handled otherwise by Stripe as merchant of record.
8. Acceptable Use
You may use Skimscore only for legitimate monitoring of domains you own or are authorized to monitor. You must not use the service for abuse, unauthorized scanning, harassment, fraud, excessive automated requests, interference with third-party systems, or activity that violates applicable law.
Practical Apps Studio may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use is abusive, unauthorized, harmful, or inconsistent with these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The Skimscore brand, software, product design, website, documentation, and related materials are owned by Practical Apps Studio or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
You retain ownership of your own domain information, submitted account details, and content you provide to the service. You grant Practical Apps Studio the limited rights needed to operate, secure, improve, and support Skimscore.
10. Limitation of Liability
Skimscore is provided as-is and as available, especially during early access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Practical Apps Studio disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Practical Apps Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, rankings, traffic, or business opportunities.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws and legal framework of the European Union, with disputes resolved by the competent Hungarian courts. Jurisdiction is Budapest, Hungary, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
